Over the past week, I have called Dr. Ford's office four (4) times: I left a VM a week ago, my wife left a VM last Thursday, and no call back. Today (Monday afternoon) I call for the 5th time, and someone finally answers the phone, but I'm told that he doesn't see anyone on Fridays (my only day off). Oh, also, I'm considered a "new patient" since I have not seen him for 3 years. Never mind that he once performed surgery on my knee...I'm just a peon now.
Dr. Ford is an excellent doctor/surgeon. Received great care. He is very kind and genuinely cares about his patients. It is so nice to have a doctor who takes the time to explain your condition and answer all your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Ford.
I called today to make an appointment. My husband is full time Military and Dr. Ford is listed as an approved physician. I spoke to a very rude young lady who stated Tricare does not pay their bills on time and Dr. Ford no longer participates as a Tricare Approved Physician. It is sad that Dr. Ford has made this decision when it is probably an internal issue why they do not receive payment! Tricare pays faster then most insurances.
I had a shoulder injury and two other doctors had told me I would never again have full use of my arm. Dr. Ford came highly recommended and I chose him to do the surgery. We did not realize how complex it would be until he started working on it and found even more damage than expected. One year after surgery, I had full usage of my arm and three years down the road I still have absolutely no issues with my arm and have returned to Dr. Ford for another problem. He is always very thorough, explains things well, and he saved me several hundred dollars when my PCP sent me for an MRI and he said that a simple x-ray was really all I needed. His office staff are all kind, thoughtful, and personable.
I absolutely adore Dr. Ford. His office staff are kind and really care about his patients. I could not have picked a better Doctor. He is kind and caring, very involved in your care and has the best bedside manner I have ever seen. I trust him completely. Such a wonderful man who takes as much time as needed to make you feel safe and comfortable with all decisions involving your healthcare. You won't go wrong choosing him, I'm so glad I did and he fixed me right up now I'm back to work and back to 100%. Thanks Doc. Your the best!
