The check in process was like a police interrogation. The staff accuse me of lying about how many cars my party had due to 2 cars on the CCTV. The man and young girl that were doing the check in acted like I was trying to deceive them about the number of cars and guests in my party due to my daughter being there for check in process. When the non smoking room was confirmed I was asked if I would like a smoking room, I agreed. None were available for the same price. The man had the audacity to tell not to disrespect the non smoking policy and the girl was giving me a death stare. A cigarette inside is not worth whatever your gonna charge my credit card. Motel 6 use to keep the light on for you but not anymore. The staff is gonna treat you like an unwanted bug attracted to the light they leave on for you.
I been traveling all day to go to military base across the country by myself. An Indian personnel at the front desk saw through his camera my military license tag as I was parked on the side of the building. I was checking in, he saw must seen my military ID, and he automatically accused me of trying to sneak someone in the building based on where I parked, which is very dumb. He started cursing and said negative things about the US military. He said they are liars and refuse to serve me. I walked out after I get my ID and I found a new hotel. I will NEVER ever go to a MOTEL 6 and hope they get bought out or fail. The positive reviews I saw about this place was from paid providers. The motel 6 pays people to give positive reviews to hide the negative ones.
So I have stayed at many Motel 6 locations all over the nation during my life. I have seen good and bad. When I was considering where to stay as my family and I made our transition to Weatherford I was almost turned off by the negative reviews, especially the one related to treatment of military personnel. I decided to give them a try and made our original reservation for a week. After the first week I rebooked us for a month as we waited for a house. The manager and his wife were nice people and we talked often, they always said good morning and asked how our day was going. The other staff we nice, even the gentleman who came around every day to get us new towels and take the garbage was friendly. We discussed the fact that I was retired from the military and that did not seem to change the way they treated us in the least. If you want a five star establishment with all the amenities you wont find that at any Motel 6, but if you want a clean, comfortable place to stay for a night or a few days then I have not found a better place for the money. As far as how people are treated, I would say follow the golden rule, and treat everyone the way you would expect to be treated and for the most part they will treat you in kind.
Let me start by saying this motel 6 is the best I have ever seen. Most motel 6 location are just disgusting & most of the time outside location with people living there which can make your stay unpleasant because of the noise & people hanging out on the parking lot. This motel 6 is an inside location very nice. The outside appearance is very nice & clean. The rooms are very nice & very clean. This location has an elevator which was very clean. The staff was very nice. The vending machines, soda machines & ice machine is located on level one. I was very surprised to see the snack machine had candy for 75 cents most places the machines are a rip off. I would suggest this location for your stay & I would definitely stay at this motel 6 again. The owner really cares about the appearance of this location and that mean a lot. Again this is the best motel 6 I have ever seen. I stayed in room 211 it's a double room but very roomy lots of space.
Have stayed here many times. Any problems that have arisen were immediately corrected. Great family staff and ownership. I stay at many hotels and for the money, top notch.
