My family bought a vehicle from Weatherford Truck Sales. Mr. Johnson did not disclose the condition of the truck, that it had been purchased at auction and that it had extreme front end damage. When the vehicle was taken to a local mechanic, the truck was in such poor condition that it was deemed unsafe to drive, and was not allowed to leave the mechanics shop unless towed. Several thousand dollars later the truck can now be on the road. There are other serious problems with the truck, but this is the most serious. In Texas a dealer is not even allowed to sell a truck in this condition. When confronted, Darrell Johnson was extremely rude and belligerent.
Put 11/2h.p.pump&mtr. in a 200ft.water well. Pulled a reda pump out dated Feb.1966.51yrs.
I personally think you'd be better off going to another dealer for a truck, but if you have to buy from him, make sure you get a vehicle inspection by a third party, and make sure you SEE the title. Make sure you're not getting a salvaged vehicle. He is not a member of the Better Business Bureau, so they won't help you. If you have been ripped off by this guy, contact the Texas Attorney General's Office and they will help.
