Nice clean park, well maintained. Pad sites are level concrete with convenient hookups. There are concrete patios at each site but no picnic tables. The pads are very narrow, about 10 feet wide and the sites are very close together. The park is right off I-20 so it can be noisy.
Clean, good location and staff is super friendly. The lady at the front desk was more than helpful and extremely kind. She could tell I was frustrated after being turned away from two other locations because of my SERVICE dog. She went above and beyond to get me a spot for as long as she could. We needed a two week stay and she only had a 5 day availability but assured me she would check daily to try to extend our stay as far as she could. She could tell I was upset because of the problems we had at other locations and reassured me that she would do everything she could to help us! She went above and beyond to try to not only get us a spot, but to be kind to us and that made all the difference!
It is located 10 miles west of Weatherford and 10 miles south of Mineral Wells.
Very nice park, very clean, well maintained, staff are great folks, maintenance folks are very nice and work hard to make your stay enjoyable.
What a beautiful park! Beautifully landscaped, nice sized concrete pads, staff was very helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced. We will definitely stay here again!
Wish we has more time there. Clean park, hook ups were easy to get to. Our pad had a lot of room for our 33ft travel trailer and truck. The freeway noise wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I'm a heavy sleeper and after a day of driving I was beat. Thanks to the staff that made our cross country move for the Navy a bit easier.
There is a fenced dog run on north end, horseshoe pit, small pavilion. Small lack with large catfish, turtles & ducks. Shower facilities are set up as large private restrooms with large shower stalls, sink, bench, toilet and kept very clean. Pads are concrete and level.
Only downside would be freeway noise.
