Such a bummer! We were looking forward to an overnight stay with scenic views. Called ahead and made a reservation for a pull through spot since we have a motorhome and trailer. Unfortunately broke down on the way there so we arrived 25 min late. By the time we made it our spot was gone, and we had to find somewhere else last minute on a Saturday. Will try this place again...hard lesson learned for new RVers.
Very Scenic views, really nice staff! Nice neighbors, clean showers and restrooms. Close to a great biking and hiking trails, as well as cool state park.
We came in for a weekend getaway from Arlington in our new Camper Mineral Wells State Park RV spots were full so we tried Eagle's Nest, Beverly the owner was very nice and accommodating! The spot had a beautiful view of the valley! The only bad side was it was a little close to the highway. Everyone we met from the area and the state park were very nice and helpful!
