I recommended this funeral home to the daughter of Leslie Lauden Johnson a dear friend of mine. While I was pleased with how the funeral home handled the arrangements for the service, I was very disappointed in purchasing flowers from their website's "Tribute Store". When I arrived at the funeral home the flowers were not there, but, had already been charged to my credit card. One employee at the funeral home assisted me and was most helpful. She made contact for me through the "Tribute Store". I was reimbursed for the flowers, but charge a $19.98 service fee. I called the funeral home to dispute paying a service fee for flowers that were ordered per instruction from their website but were not delivered. I have yet to here a reply. Today 08-31-2017, I found out three other people bought flowers for the same service, from the funeral home website "Tribute Store" their credit cards were also charged for flowers not delevered. I was told the owner/proprietor (someone named James) would be notified of what had happened about my purchase. I have not received a reply, to this date no one from the funeral home has responded to my request. The orders showed up on the obituary page for the Johnson service, it shows what the four different family's ordered and paid for, but never received! Two of the arrangements, mine and one other person are aware of what happened; but, two other people may not even know their flowers didn't arrive as expected. To this date we do not know who ordered the other two arrangements. It is a show of love and support for a family to honor their love one that has past with flowers. My heart is grateful to all that sent flowers. We want to send out thank you notes to all; unfortunately unless we find out the names of the other people that purchased the two other arrangements this can't happen. The funeral home has been contacted by me through email and phone calls, no response. Buyer beware, do not order flowers off the Galbreaith-Pickard funeral home website "Tribute Store"!
